Special Charter Trips:

*SUMMER-ONLY 4 HOUR River/Bay -- trips on the calm sheltered waters of Barnegat Bay/Manasquan River targeting FLUKE/WEAKFISH/TAYLOR BLUES and the occasional schoolie striper using ULTRALIGHT tackle!  GREAT for kids and families, and light tackle enthusiasts alike (EARLY morning, day, afternoon, and evenings available - Charter only): $500

*4 HOUR Livelining/Plugging TROPHY STRIPERS -- trips on the local ocean (when bunker run is occurring).  Top fish last 3 years ~ 43#!  2009 - 37 stripers boated over 30#!!!  MAXIMUM 4 ANGLERS -- EARLY morning, day, late afternoon/evenings available - we will go when the bite is best!!! (May-July - Charter only):  $600

*Full Day "Guide" Trips --  New for 2010! These trips are for anglers that intend to charter the boat with a SMALL crew (1-2 anglers MAXIMUM), and have a day(6-8 hours) to fish with the Capt and Crew in a less crowded environment of a full boat. Targeting stripers, fluke, or any other inshore species.  These trips can also be a great learning experience for beginners!!  Fly fishermen and light tackle fishermen are welcome!! (Morning departure, afternoon return - Charter only):  $500

SPECIAL TRIPS:
 

*Special 10 HOUR "Fluke till ya Puke" trips targeting DOORMAT fluke and QUANTITY fishing the rocks, wrecks, and reefs; Fare:  $130 (RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED – PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR AVAILABLILITY, STARTING IN JULY! - no deposit required)  MANY limits taken in 05-09',  5-8# fish on the boat regularly, top fish OVER 10# -- A MUST for real fluke fanatics!  Trips will run 645AM till 3-4PM OR LATER. 

*After Work Striper Specials -- These will run on SOME Weekdays in May, June, and July whenever the bunker run is occurring targeting TROPHY STRIPERS on live bunker and plugs.  These trips depart around 3PM and return by sundown.  These will be OPEN BOAT TRIPS and will be posted on the OB/Shared Charter page when the trips become available.  Fare:  $120/pp (RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED - no deposit).  Max 5 anglers! 

Inclusive in the Charter Fare: 

1)Custom Rods (GUSA & EGlass Blanks)

2)Penn, Shimano, and ABU Garcia Reels

3)Filleting of fish upon return to the dock

4)All bait, tackle, and hardware necessary for the trip (rigs, lead, jigs, plugs, bucktails, etc.)

5)ICE and storage for the catch

6)Digital photos of your catch

7)Use of food cooler/refrigerator/microwave for food

8)A hard working deckhand & captain!

What To Bring

1)Sunglasses

2)Sunscreen (we always have some handy, but it never hurts to bring extra!), and A hat or visor for protection against the sun

3)Sneakers with light colored soles, deck boots, or deck shoes

4)Rain gear (if there’s a threat)

5)If the weather is cool, or you are sensitive to the cold, make sure to dress in LAYERS

6)A limited amount of your own gear  and/or tackle that would be appropriate to the trip

7)A small cooler for lunch to bring on the boat, and if you choose so, a cooler that can stay in your vehicle to transport your meat home.  WE NOW HAVE A REFRIGERATOR!!

8)Snacks/lunch/WATER

9)Motion sickness meds (if you need them!)

10)Camera (we always have one on board though!)

**For children:  if they have their own PFD - bring it along!
 

  Boat Policies

1) Upon booking a charter, a $200 deposit is required.

2) Any cancellations of the trip by the customer(s) should be done no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled trip if the deposit is to be remitted to the customer.

3) If the cancellation is made within 7 days of the booked date by the customer there will be NO REFUND on the trip’s deposit.

4) If any customer does any damages to the vessel during a trip damages must be paid in full by the customer.

5) If a fishing rod and reel that is supplied by the boat is lost or damaged during the trip the customer will pay for the loss or damage done to the rod and reel.

6) No hard liquor or drugs are allowed on board, NO EXCEPTIONS.  If any of the aforementioned substances are brought aboard the boat by the charter, the trip will be terminated immediately with full remittance of the cost of the charter due upon return to the dock.

7) We will gladly fillet and clean your catch upon return to the dock. 

8)  The Captain does not CANCEL trips due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances; trips are rescheduled for a later date, agreed on by the Captain, his crew, and the customer(s).  If rescheduling cannot occur due to time and schedule constraints, and/or weather, the deposit will carry over to the following year so that the trip is fulfilled.

9)  If inclement weather (rough seas, high wind, heavy rain, snow, ice, etc.) occurs on the date of a given trip there are two options for the trip:  A)  reschedule the trip to a later date, or B)  (if its possible weather-wise and fish-wise) fish the trip in the safe, calm, and confined waters of the Manasquan River and Barnegat Bay.  The Captain will discuss options the two possible options with the crew the day before, or the morning of the trip.

10)  Customarily, a 15-20% gratuity should be added on for the deckhand at the conclusion of the trip.  Mates work hard, and put in a lot of hours, treat them right!!
