Bryan's 7+ lb. Fluke taken in August, 2006.
"I have been fishing with Captain Allen on his Reel Class for years. I've found him to be one of the most knowledgeable and personable captains I know. I've personally found his "open boat" trips to be a great option for those of us who don't have a crew to fish with. On these "open boat" trips I have had several of my all time best fluke fishing catches. I highly recommend giving Capt Allen and his Reel Class a try."

"One of the best fluke trips I experienced in 2007 and very possibly my best fluke trip ever. Capt. Allen had us on keeper fluke from the first drift to the last. Achieved a 5 man limit of fluke to over 7 pounds before noon and we still had 3 hours of fishing time left."

"Our November Bass Trip my Brother and Brother-In-Law joined me on was the most awesome fishing experience!  Thanks to Captain Allen and his expert boat handling abilities, he kept us on the Bass all day long.  We easily caught over one hundred fish!  Thanks Again Captain Allen!  See you in 2008!"

George's 3 lb. Manasquan River winter flounder from 2007

"Very first trip w/ REEL CLASS CHARTERS (Flounder Trip) 4-21-07

I was scheduled on an open boat trip 4-14-07 w/ Reel Class sport Fishing (My first time with REEL CLASS) and the night before I went trout fishing on the Musconetcong River in Hackettstown. On my way home from the river I hit a deer (car was messed up pretty bad) and the first thing that went through my head was I need to Call the Captain Allen  and cancel and he is going to charge me  and this was my first trip with Reel Class. I spoke to Allen and he said no problem he understood that I couldn’t make it and scheduled me for the following Saturday 4-21-07 with NO CANCELLATION CHARGE. Luckily on Saturday 4-21-07 we loaded the boat with Winter Flounder and I caught a very nice 2 ½ to 3lber and was hooked On Reel Class Sport Fishing ever since. Capt. Allen is extremely knowledgeable of the waters and I have caught fish on every trip regardless of conditions or species .Capt. Allen of REEL CLASS “put’s you on the meat” and does not stop until you CATCH FISH. REEL CLASS makes you feel like family from day one and is always my first choice for a charter boat. You can’ beat his knowledge, professionalism and prices. Worst case scenario you catch some fish laugh, meet great people and become part of the fishing family. Cant’ wait till this year Capt."

"Fishing with Capt. Allen on the Reel Class this past year has been a great expreience. I made new friends,(Mike, Steve, Allen you guys are a blast to fish with) always caught fish, leaned alot about the great saltwater fishing off our shores, (Been a freshwater fisherman for 35 years) and got my first keeper bass ( my goal for 2007.) I highly reccomend fishing the reel class and can't wait to get back out for the 2008 season. I'm hooked on the salt."

"I always look forward to fishing with Captain Allen on Reel Class though I especially look forward to the fall striped bass run when jigging and plugging are the name of the game.  Last November I enjoyed several good bass trips with Allen but my trip on November 8th was outstanding.  After leaving the inlet, we had a very short trip to the area the bass were feeding and what followed was one of my best fall bass trips to date.  Once we stopped, we were instantly into fish on plugs and jigs as bass and bluefish were crashing sand eels on the surface all around us.  What a sight!!!    Capt. Allen did a great job keeping us with the fish all day.  After all was said and done, we had landed over 3 dozen bass, of which most were keepers, and at least that many gator bluefish in the 10-15# range. Needless to say, the boat limited out on bass with the top 3 fish hovering around the 20# mark.  It is winter now, but I can't wait to be fishing with Capt. Allen again this spring for some Manasquan river flounder.  Capt. Allen, thanks for all the great trips in 2007.  They are going to be hard to beat."

8/07 - Juicebox was part of one of the best fluking trips EVER on Reel Class!
“I fish with Allen probably a half dozen times a year on his open boat trips because most of my friend either don’t fish or can’t agree on a date. This has given me the opportunity to meet a different crew every time we sail, make contacts for future trips, and make some new friends…who fish! If you are reading this, chances are you understand it’s not always “lights out” conditions as far as catching (it is called fishing you know) so what makes Allen a good captain is the effort he puts into it, EVERY trip. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you out there this upcoming season.”
